Meet Your Counsellor in Prince George

Hello, I’m Simon Zukowski, a Registered Clinical Counsellor  with a Master’s in Counselling from the University of Northern British Columbia.

I specialize in helping adults and youth struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, and self-esteem issues. What draws me to counselling is a deep desire to help people reconnect with their inner worth and find peace in who they truly are — in relation to themselves, others, and the world.

Having personally experienced anxiety, depression, and chronic stress, I bring not only professional expertise but lived understanding to my work. I’ve been where many of my clients are, and I know healing is possible.

My counselling style is rooted in Person-Centered Therapy, focusing on empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I also incorporate tools from Mindfulness-Based Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients:

  • Access the calm, resilient space within themselves.
  • Understand their inner parts and patterns
  • Create emotional harmony and clarity

Since 2023, I’ve been practicing as a counsellor in Prince George, BC, where I live with my wife and two young daughters. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey.

If you’re not sure if counselling is right for you, feel free to book a 30 minute initial consultation. We won’t do any formal counselling in this session, but you will get a chance to dip your toes in gently, and ask me any questions—or voice any doubts—about entering counselling. There’s absolutely no pressure to continue beyond this point.
